Technician Assistant/Support Staff
This is the perfect “entry level” position if you are thinking of working in the veterinary profession. One of the busiest, most varied, and important positions in the hospital is the tech assistant. The right person does not need much experience, we can teach you all you need to know. You will grow with the job as you learn the ropes. A veterinary hospital can be a busy, exciting, and sometimes stressful place to be and we are looking for the right person who wants to be part of our team and help keep our hospital running smoothly. Full time would be okay, but we can also use someone part time – in the afternoons during the week and occasionally on Saturdays (1/2 day).
This position will be helping keep the hospital clean and be part of our disease-control program. Caring for surgical instruments, stocking, some janitorial duties and organization are a big part of the day. And if you are interested, we will teach you the basics of caring for our patients in the hospital and you can assist our nursing staff with their daily duties as you advance.
